I am thrilled to share my experience as a Civil Engineering Intern at Navix Engineering this summer! This opportunity has been transformative, allowing me to enhance my #AutoCAD and #Civil3D skills while working on real-world projects. During my internship, I had the privilege of drafting and designing construction documents for data centers across the nation. Additionally, I developed a thorough site due diligence plan that included a feasibility study and regulatory impact analysis for a potential data center location, deepening my understanding of the critical factors that influence a project's success. I want to give a heartfelt thank you to the fantastic Foxtrot team for their amazing support and collaboration, including?Alex Robles,?Stephen Fellin, Chris Callison, and?Nathan Whites, EIT. I am incredibly grateful to Spencer Humphrey, PE, for his exceptional mentorship, which has been instrumental in my growth. I would also like to extend my appreciation to Joe Taflin for providing me with the opportunity to contribute to the Navix Engineering team. This experience has strengthened my passion for civil engineering, and I am excited to take these learnings into my future endeavors.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our 14th annual Trivia Night! ? Not only did we have a blast dressing up as pirates, we raised $36,766 for Food Lifeline! ? Food Lifeline is on a mission to feed people facing hunger today while working to end hunger for tomorrow. The funds raised during Trivia Night will help distribute fresh food to more than 400 food banks, shelters, and meal programs across Western Washington.? ? Our 14-year partnership with Food Lifeline is based on mutual values. We're passionate about designing #affordablehousing because we strive to provide stability and security to those suffering in the US #housingcrisis — and many of those people are also facing food insecurity. ? This $36,766 will make a very real impact in many lives and it was only possible thanks to our generous donors, participants, and volunteers. ? TVA is thrilled to share that the Salem Historic Landmark Commission recently awarded the Benjamin Maxwell Award for Outstanding Example of New Construction in a Historic District to the The Holman Hotel. Located within the National Register-listed Downtown Salem Historic District, the design of the hotel’s fa?ade is a thoughtful reflection of the district's architectural heritage. The building’s form, massing, and use of exterior materials honor the few remaining structures that speak to Salem's architectural history. Inside, the hotel's rooms and communal spaces bear the names of the city's pioneering women, celebrating their contributions to Salem's rich heritage. Congratulations to the team, and thank you to the Salem Historic Landmarks Commission for this honor.
