NAVSEA SBIR/STTR Outreach Event Highlight: Thank you to the NavalX Potomac Tech Bridge and the University of Mary Washington for hosting the NAVSEA STTR Symposium. This event focused on the STTR Program, which fosters collaboration between small businesses and universities. Additionally, NAVSEA's Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) showcased resources available for transitioning to Phase III. The NSTIC also presented further engagement opportunities with the Navy beyond SBIR/STTR and FAR-based contracting. Representatives from Christopher Newport University, the University of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Virginia Polytechnic Institute discussed exciting partnership opportunities in cutting-edge technology research and development. Kicking off November 17, The NavalX Midwest Tech Bridge and NSWC Crane Technology Transfer, in collaboration with The Mill, will be hosting the third annual PROPELS technology transfer and showcase program, as part of Bloomington’s Innovation Week.
