With seven exciting and challenging missions to tackle, each team is giving it their all to score the highest and claim the top spot in the competition. With each mission, they’re showing off their problem-solving skills, teamwork and creativity—testing out everything they’ve learned. As we get closer to the final scoring and the big reveal of our champions, we couldn’t be prouder of all the students who’ve taken part. NAVSEA SBIR/STTR Outreach Event Highlight: Thank you to the NavalX Potomac Tech Bridge and the University of Mary Washington for hosting the NAVSEA STTR Symposium. This event focused on the STTR Program, which fosters collaboration between small businesses and universities. Additionally, NAVSEA's Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) showcased resources available for transitioning to Phase III. The NSTIC also presented further engagement opportunities with the Navy beyond SBIR/STTR and FAR-based contracting. Representatives from Christopher Newport University, the University of Virginia, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Virginia Polytechnic Institute discussed exciting partnership opportunities in cutting-edge technology research and development. The STTR Program offers resources to strengthen America’s warfighters and boost the economy.
