Today, we celebrated Liz Joseph, Nauticus' beloved Gift Shop Manager, who has dedicated 30 incredible years to our organization. As this marks Liz's final week with us before she embarks on a well-deserved retirement, we want to express our deepest gratitude for her unwavering support, dedication, and countless contributions to Nauticus over the past three decades. As we begin a new year, we wanted to reflect on an amazing 2024 WinterFest season. We welcomed over 71,000 visitors to our one-of-a-kind holiday experience, which would not be possible without the support of our generous sponsors. We are just weeks away from our grand opening celebration of a Reimagined Nauticus on Nov. 9! Today, the media enjoyed a sneak peek into the first exhibit, Design Build Sail! Presented by the Batten Foundation, set to soft open to Nauticus members this weekend. “For the last four years, we’ve been involved in a transformation of this space — everything from stem to stern,” said Nauticus Executive Director Stephen Kirkland about the upgrade.
