From late summer into the heart of fall, we’ve been hard at work, and we’re thrilled to share that this harvest season was one for the books! Between August 22 and October 31, we processed an incredible 357+ tons of grapes, nearly all of which will be transformed into high-quality wine. Here’s a look at some of our standout varieties: 75 tons of Pinot Noir 42 tons of Pinot Gris 41 tons of Grenache 37 tons of Viognier 22 tons of Cabernet Sauvignon Cheers to a season of dedication, teamwork, and the beautiful wines to come! Meet the Team! Chad Derosier - Custom Crush Manager Chad Derosier has a diverse background in operations management and customer service. He brings expertise in spearheading, prioritizing, and driving projects and programs from conception to completion through resource mobilization, team leadership, and relationship building. He is adept at identifying areas of improvement in business procedures with a keen focus on executing process optimization initiatives. A NH native with a degree in Environmental Policy from Keene State College, he has been in Oregon for 25 years. He first arrived in the Applegate Valley, where his love for Syrah and Grenache was born.

On Thursday, we joined the WVV team alongside our O-I PS partners to bottle their first batch of reusable wine bottles! ?? Over 16,800 bottles of their 2023 Whole Cluster Pinot Noir will be available in Revino bottles across Oregon & SW Washington later this year. Find them and enjoy! Then, simply return your Revino bottles to any WVV location for reuse (WVV even offers customer incentives for doing so)! Meet our Head Winemaker - Dustin Andries. Dustin oversees the winemaking and operations process for all clients at Naumes Crush & Fermentation. Born and raised in the Rogue Valley, Dustin is deeply rooted in Southern Oregon’s winemaking heritage. As a graduate of Oregon State University’s Fermentation Sciences program, he has built a solid foundation on his local roots that bears fruit in the wine he makes. Dustin’s impressive career took flight at Naumes Crush & Fermentation as Assistant Winemaker in 2015, where he played a pivotal role in the winery’s expansion and sustained success. His journey within the company saw him shouldering increasing responsibilities, from overseeing day-to-day winemaking operations to adeptly managing cellar crews and conducting crucial laboratory tasks. Away from Southern Oregon, Dustin gathered invaluable international experience through harvest internships in renowned wine regions spanning the globe, including New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, and more. Additionally, his tenure at Jackson Family Winery Corsair in McMinnville enhanced his analytical and leadership capabilities. As Enologist, he adeptly managed the primary laboratory for Jackson Family’s Oregon operations, orchestrating external laboratory analysis for prestigious brands such as Penner Ash, Willakenzie, Gran Moraine, La Crema Willamette Valley, and Siduri Willamette Valley. This role honed his exacting analytical skills and comprehensive mastery of wine production across every stage. Returning to his roots in the Rogue Valley, Dustin is poised to lead Naumes Crush & Fermentation into a new era of innovation and excellence. Dustin’s fervent passion, deep-seated local ties, and extensive experience position him as the ideal leader for our clients’ winemaking journey.
