Prior to our Q4 board of directors meeting, members of the NPA board took to Capitol Hill to meet with key lawmakers to discuss the Association's priorities for the 119th Congress. The team also presented Representatives Jeff Duncan and Tony Cárdenas with Lifetime Achievement Awards for their steadfast leadership in championing pro-dietary supplement policies.

ICYMI: Natural Products Association held it's Committee for Product and Label Integrity (ComPLI) Meeting at SSW. If you aren't familiar with ComPLI, its focus is to develop and oversee programs and positions on key scientific and compliance matters facing our industry. Jim Emme, Daniel Fabricant, Ph.D., Elan Sudberg, Matthew Anania, Stephen Northrup and others shared insight on areas on which the committee should focus on near term. After attending the “After 30 years of DSHEA, the question is: What now?” session the previous day, it was refreshing to interact with a room full of scientific and regulatory professionals who believe we as an industry have a voice through education and political action.
