This past week Oriol Garcia-Antúnez, Jarumi Kato Huerta, and I, fellows in the NATURA European node, spent an intense week of work on the upcoming regional report. Having the opportunity to work face-to-face with colleagues you highly value is a blessing. We are proud of the work done and excited to see the Global Roadmap for Urban NbS come together in the next months! A big thank you to our leads, Natalie Marie Gulsrud, Christopher Raymond and Davide Geneletti for the invaluable support and mentorship, and heartfelt thanks to the contributing authors Emma Campbell, Filipa Grilo and Yaella Depietri for their precious insights and active role. ?? Our week included also meetings with the Human-Nature Transformations research group, discussion on the CO-CARBON project and collaborations, together with sightseeing and warm salmon soup in front of the Helsinki cathedral! The workshop is funded by the National Science Foundation (#2430616) and will be facilitated by Dr. Marisa A. Rinkus (Toolbox Dialogue Initiative Center) and Dr. Leslie Smith (Your Ocean Consulting and the AccelNet iDOOS project). ECRs selected to attend the workshop will also receive full funding to attend the AccelNet Annual Meeting October 16-18, 2024. ?
