Proud to share the progress from Moroni's and Ammon's teams as they work diligently to enhance infrastructure along Coffman Street. This week, they’re setting inlet structures and manholes at the 8th and 9th Street intersections, ensuring improved drainage and utility access for the community. Meanwhile, concrete is being poured for the new bus stop and parking lot at Roosevelt Park, creating a more accessible and welcoming space for all park visitors. Native Sun is installing new sidewalk and a raised bike lane along 30th Street here in Boulder between Colorado Ave and Arapahoe Ave. Raising the cyclists out of the roadway will protect them from vehicular traffic. As part of the detail for the new improvements, Native Sun is installing a colored buffer zone complete with a rake finish between the sidewalk and bikelane. This buffer zone assists in keeping cyclists and pedestrians safely away from each other.?We have finished up the East side of the project, and are on schedule to complete this 200 working day contract April of 2025. #construction

Project Update: Getting close on the Mesa Ridge & Syracuse St on and Offsite Improvements Project. The widening of Syracuse St at Mesa Ridge Pkwy is almost complete with the placement of 130yds of flow fill! #construction

CDOT Baptist Road Roundabout Update: Construction began in June 2024 to improve access to 3 major travel centers. The project is on track to be completed by mid-November, making your commute smoother and more efficient! #construction

Joe, Brandon and Spencer making good progress installing a new 4 inch water line on the El Paso County Akers Yard project. This will feed the new building and high-pressure spray-off bay for the county to clean off snow plows, etc.

Native Sun Construction is proud to announce the successful rehabilitation of the historic Granite Bridge over the Arkansas River. Originally built in 1911, this steel pony truss bridge is a testament to Colorado’s engineering heritage. Our team worked tirelessly with Chaffee County, CDOT and HDR Engineering in overcoming challenges like diverting the river flow, strengthening the river bed, replacing the old bridge with a new structurally-sound bridge all while preserving the bridge's historic image and protecting the pristine headwaters of the Arkansas River.
