We are thrilled to unveil the newest mural at our Tower Road location, a vibrant piece by local artist JOSEPH PALEC that perfectly captures the essence of Colorado and cannabis culture. Unveiled on August 8th, this multi-colored masterpiece is already turning heads at 7050 Tower Road, right near Denver International Airport. Joe worked tirelessly to create a mural that "screams 'Colorado'" and integrates the quirky lore surrounding our beloved airport. From the Denver skyline and Red Rocks Amphitheatre to fun references like Blucifer and even some feline friends, the mural is a playful yet powerful representation of what makes our community unique. "I wanted to throw in all those conspiracy theories about Denver International Airport, lizard people, Blucifer, those kinds of things," Joe shares. "Something really magical that the store manager told me is the people coming to that store, it's not only their first experience at a dispensary, but it's usually their first stop when they come into Colorado. I wanted to make sure I put those vibes in there." This mural isn’t just a visual treat—it's a story waiting to be told. Ohio just made history as it launched its regulated adult-use cannabis market, with 98 dispensaries approved to open their doors today! The division intends to award dual-use certificates of operation to the remaining 36 applicants who meet regulatory requirements later this week to help ensure a fair and equitable market rollout, according to the DCC. This significant milestone comes a month ahead of schedule, thanks to the groundwork laid by the state’s Medical Marijuana Control Program. Ohio is officially gearing up for recreational marijuana sales, with the Department of Commerce and Board of Pharmacy starting to issue licenses and certificates for cultivation, processing, and dispensaries. This move means we can expect sales to begin as early as this fall, with businesses already having started their preparations to launch. The introduction of recreational marijuana is anticipated to significantly boost the local economy and create a noteworthy amount of new jobs, with over 60 provisional dispensary licenses already issued.
