Last week, I presented a?NationBuilder?Masterclass in Sydney. In addition to sharing the theory around how we can use storytelling in campaigns, I also got into the tech a little, demonstrating websites we’ve built to collect stories from communities and present them in a way that brings the campaign to life, like on www.reomaori.co.nz. Our developers are wizards at building tools that allow everyone to participate and see themselves as part of a campaign. Most importantly, we use the same digital tools to nudge people along their supporter journey, developing supporters who can be nurtured into effective advocates. When I joined NationBuilder a few years ago, I was excited to dive into the product and explore the many ways our customers use the platform. Building my knowledge of the software has been a fun and rewarding learning curve, driven, in part, by my own passion project! In my free time, I’ve been building 'menu ldn' - a small food blog which has been a great way to deepen my understanding of our CMS and better support prospective customers.
