Many thanks to Helen Morgan MP for raising the financial state of community pharmacy in the House of Commons this afternoon. Sustained interest from Parliamentarians is crucial for our campaign to secure proper funding for pharmacies to stop them closing at an alarming rate. That's crucial because the nation's pharmacies provide vital medicine supply, health advice and health services to millions of people. It’s so important that we are told the full truth about the difficult state of the community #pharmacy network, which provides vital medication and health advice to millions of people. ? That’s why we’re pleased the Independent Pharmacies Association (IPA) have joined us in calling for the independent economic analysis of the pharmacy sector to be published now. This analysis, commissioned by NHS England is expected to show the extent to which the network is under-funded and the?risk to services on which so many people rely. ? We’ve?drafted a joint letter to NHS England asking for this vital information to be released immediately. There’s no justification for keeping the public, and pharmacies themselves in the dark. https://lnkd.in/gTd6mFwy ?
