Meet Katie! ?? Katie has been a member in NCL for six years and currently serves on the National Ticktocker Advisory Council. With over 150 volunteer hours this past year, she’s made an incredible impact alongside her mom and friends. Recently, Katie was selected for the prestigious Rose Court, chosen from hundreds of girls to represent the Pasadena area in the Rose Parade and at the Rose Bowl. The Orange/Villa Park Chapter Class of 2029 recently hosted a food drive in partnership with Feeding America and the San Antonio de Padua food bank in Anaheim Hills, CA. As part of their 8th-grade core program, these girls learned about the pressing issue of food insecurity, where 1 in 6 children in the U.S. faces hunger. Through teamwork and dedication, these inspiring young women collected a significant amount of food to help those facing food insecurity.
