It’s Crash Responder Safety Week, and the NVFC is committed to improving road safety for emergency responders and all road users. Yesterday, NVFC CEO Sarah Lee and Dave Lewis (President of the Cumberland Valley Volunteer Firefighters Association and NVFC Director from Maryland) attended the Traffic Incident Management Executive Leadership Group at the U.S. Department of Transportation Headquarters. Together, we’re working toward safer roads for everyone. #CRSW

Taught by instructor Doug deBest and sponsored by General Motors, the course introduced first responders to the unique challenges of EVs. These courses held in Hartford, MI, on November 9 and in St. Joseph, MI, on November 12, offered critical insights and hands-on experience in handling incidents involving electric and hybrid vehicles.
