Today, NTF 2024 Chair John Zimmerman of Minnesota testified before the U.S. Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry - Republican, emphasizing the severe impacts of HPAI and aMPV on turkey growers and highlighting key priorities for the U.S. turkey industry. NTF appreciates the chance to engage with lawmakers on these critical issues and remains committed to securing the resources needed to protect turkey production, especially with USDA’s new HPAI Plan in motion. ??
