One of our primary goals at the NTSC is to continue to strengthen the public/private partnership by hosting virtual webinar with key executives within CISA and on November 14 we will be welcoming Lisa Einstein, CISA's Chief AI Officer to the NTSC Webinar Series. Lisa's credentials as the Chief AI Officer are impressive indeed, but did you know that Lisa served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guinea and taught physics to over 600 students in a rural village and worked with some of her students to co-found a local NGO that promotes girls’ education and combats early marriage and gender-based violence. Or that in her spare time, Lisa is a part-time research advisor in the Stanford Intelligent Systems Laboratory. She was Stanford’s first dual master’s degree recipient in computer science (artificial intelligence concentration) and international policy (cyber policy and security concentration). Please join us as we explore Artificial Intelligence with Lisa and get to know a bit more about the person behind the title.

Earlier this year, the NTSC published CISO 3.0, an update to our previously paper CISO 2.0. As Jason Witty, CISO at Fidelity Investments notes in the paper: "In the past 10 years, the sophistication, velocity, and volume of cyber-attacks elevated cyber-security to a Board level topic. With explosive growth of Generative Artificial Intelligence, modern CISOs must now double-down on safe business enablement, while still managing risk well. CISOs still require the skills of the past/ present including understanding various policy, governance, frameworks, and oversight practices; deeply understanding international threat intelligence, information sharing networks, public-private operational collaboration processes; and advances in modern agile software engineering practices like DevSecOps. They must also remain excellent organizational leaders, thought leaders, recruiters, communicators, and coaches. But deep-knowledge of Generative AI / Large Language Models and broader Model Risk Management and Governance practices has rapidly become skillset table-stakes of the future" I am delighted to share this whitepaper with you today, which you can read here: https://lnkd.in/gqgVWvrK
