We had some great training last week for our Secure Transport Officer Certification Course. Big thank you to Chippewa Valley Technicial College for the use of their range, the Chippewa County Sheriff’s for the jail operations demo and overview along with our NTS training staff. We’re proud to announce that we are now providing Secure Inmate Transport and In Custody Security Services throughout the Chippewa Valley and Western Wisconsin.

We’re extremly lucky to have some of the best instructors and agents in the security industry. Our fall training spin-up has some of the latest tactics to help our agents become safer which allows them to better serve our clients. This is one way we’re Transforming the Security Industry by raising the bar with our protective agents.

In honor of September 11, 2001 for the FDNY, NYPD, Port Authority and all those who lost their lives on this day 23 years ago we continue to remember the events of that day and how it changed our country forever. This morning members of the NTS Executive Team honor all those lost along with their family and friends buy taking a morning workout session to incorporate the symbolic 110 Floor Stair Climb. Like thousands of other Americans it changed our lives also forever. For those who jumped into the war on terrorism either stateside or overseas we thank you for your service. Never Forget!

Why are security patrols important? Crime Prevention- Patrols deter potential criminals by increasing the likelihood of detection. Emergency Response- Patrols can quickly respond to incidents or emergencies such as fires, medical emergencies, or alarms triggered by security systems. Safety Assurance- Patrols ensure the safety and security of people working late, such as in businesses or industrial sites, and can provide a sense of safety to residents in neighborhoods. Monitoring and Surveillance- Patrols help monitor areas for unusual activity, maintain surveillance of properties, and assure security systems are functioning properly. Property Protection- Patrols help safeguard property from damage or loss by identifying and addressing security breaches or suspicious activities promptly. Our security professionals are working 24/7 to ensure all of our Minnesota and Wisconsin clients are safe.

A great day working in Western Wisconsin with some of our officers. We were honored to assist local, county and state law enforcement agencies, Firefighters and EMS during a large scale active threat exercise. It’s great to work alongside the men and women in uniform as they train and prepare to protect our communities. Great work today. Also a big shout out to RPG Coffee for sponsoring.

We’re excited to announce Paula Jacques as our newest member to the NTS Security Services Team.?Paula is a seasoned professional, with experience in office and area management, dedicated to leveraging her expertise in business?management, employee development and fiscal management. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Stout in Menomonie, Wisconsin, Paula gained 32 years of experience, specifically within the parking management industry. During that time, Paula worked as an Area Manager for multiple Class A properties, Human Resources Director, Office Manager and even had to help direct contract security operations. Paula has extensive experience managing daily operations of employees, compliance mandates, and implementing employee benefit programs. Paula has an exceptional track record and loves working with clients.??Paula is used to a fast-paced working environment and dealing with several high-volume properties. Paula is eager to bring her training and experiences, comprehensive knowledge, and proven leadership to our team. Great day with some of our training staff at our downtown Minneapolis office. Big thanks to the Minneapolis Workbox staff as our co-host along with promoting the First Aid/CPR/AED certification training.

NTS Protective Agent Sean Northrop was recognized by our leadership team this morning for his quick and heroic actions during a critical incident at one of our accounts. On June 11, 2024, Sean detected a fire, with a female who was in imminent danger.?After safely getting her away from harm’s way, he quickly extinguished the fire. Thanks to his rapid response and decisive action, he was able to minimize injury and further damage to property. Sean’s dedication to safety and willingness to go above and beyond during a critical life-threatening incident are commendable and we are proud to have him on our Team!

When a community member steps up and takes an oath to serve and protect, they do so with courage, bravery and compassion. They do this to protect all of us as we go about our daily lives. We owe them all the respect that they so greatly deserve. Officer Jamal Mitchell paid the ultimate sacrifice while knowingly rushing into a dangerous situation to protect others and stop a violent offender, without hesitation. RIP Officer Mitchell, for your service and bravery, you will not be forgotten ?? We sincerely offer our condolences and prayers to the men and women of the Minneapolis Police Department and the family of Fallen Officer Jamal Mitchell. ??
