As our nation continues the transition from one presidential administration to the next, National Security Policy Center (NSPC) Founding Director and National Security Data and Policy Institute (NSDPI) Executive Director Phil Potter had the pleasure of sitting down with an expert on the subject. Yohannes Abraham most recently served as Chair of the Harris-Walz transition planning effort and has worked within the Biden administration as Executive Director of the Biden-Harris transition, Ambassador to ASEAN, and Executive Secretary of the National Security Council. Joining Dr. Potter this week at the University of Virginia Frank Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy as part of its Batten Hour speaker series, Amb. Abraham shed light on what government functionaries do when their party is out of power, notable aspects of the current presidential transition, and different approaches large organizations can take to define their priorities.
