BREAKING NEWS: 5TH CONSECUTIVE PLAINTIFF ROUNDUP VERDICT Yesterday, a jury in the best city of the world, Philadelphia, handed down a $3.5 Million verdict to a woman after finding that Roundup caused her cancer. The jury award included $462,500 in compensatory damages and $3 million in punitive damages. In a shocking move to absolutely no one, Bayer immediately stated that it intends to appeal the "modest damages" and plans to "get this verdict overturned." In more bad news for Bayer, another Roundup trial began Monday in San Benito County Superior Court, CA after Bayer's attempt to disqualify the judge was denied. This comes after Bayer alleged the trial judge in Philadelphia gave improper jury instruction before the $175 million verdict. Bayer is on the ropes and things are not looking good for the company. Another trial is set to begin in Philadelphia in January with the same attorneys that scored the $175 million verdict. Expect to see over a dozen more Roundup verdicts in the next 6 months.
