Procurement Colleagues, We are approaching the month of March, which is widely recognized as Procurement Month, and the National Procurement Institute is excited to announce that it has proclaimed March 12, 2025, as Procurement Professionals’ Day! Procurement Professionals’ Day is a day to recognize and appreciate the efforts of the many outstanding individuals who make up the various functions of the procurement profession. From contracting, to compliance, to inventory management, to various other things in between, procurement professionals bring tremendous value to the organizations and communities that they serve. I encourage all of NPI’s members to share this Proclamation with your procurement teams and think of ways that you might celebrate Procurement Professionals’ Day with your team. I also hope that you will consider sharing this Proclamation with your agency’s executive leadership to let it serve as a catalyst for drawing attention to your team’s excellent procurement professionals. For the past several years, Procurement Professionals’ Day has been recognized on the second Wednesday of March by agencies and associations across the US and Canada.
