Swine disease continues to be a significant challenge for U.S. pork producers, and NPB remains committed to finding research-based solutions for farmers. A few weeks ago, Marisa Rotolo, DVM PhD had the privilege of sharing more about this work with Dr. Clayton Johnson, host of the Swine Health Blackbelt Podcast. The two discussed how the Swine Disease Research Task Force sets research priorities and shares the latest findings to tackle key challenges producers and veterinarians are facing related to endemic and foreign animal diseases. Their field-applicable research aims to move the needle on endemic pathogens and further understand foreign disease management. ??
