NPEN is delighted to announce that our second annual parenting educators virtual conference is set to take place on Friday, April 4th. The theme of the 2025 conference will be "Connections and Well-being through Parenting Education". We are now seeking proposals, and will be accepting proposals until January 13th. As the premier organization supporting the work of parenting educators and those in related professions, we look forward to receiving your application. Our goal for this conference is is three-fold: 1) to provide a wide variety of topics that demonstrate how effective parenting education fosters positive relationships and strengthens families through innovative strategies and community-building, 2) to provide strategies for assisting families in reducing their stress and increasing well-being but also strategies for reducing stress and increasing well-being for professionals who provide services, and 3) to have diverse presenters with varied backgrounds. We are looking for presenters who work as parenting educators, conduct research, and/or work in an administrative or non-profit capacity around family support. All presentations should be educationally-focused. Presentations that focus on marketing or selling will not be accepted. All presentations will be 50 minutes, allowing for a 10-minute break in-between sessions. Please note - the intended audience is family science professionals not parents. Please plan your presentation accordingly as presentations geared toward parents will not be accepted. Notifications of accepted proposals will be made by mid-February.
