Happy #PHIGFriday! NNPHI continues to amplify stories from health departments that showcase the ongoing impact of PHIG funding. ?? Mitch DeValliere from the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services' Division of Public & Behavioral Health tells us how his agency collaborated with the Nevada Association of Counties to inform their state's first-ever $15M allocation to local public health! As a result, counties were able to direct resources where they were most needed. Initially a one-time allocation, this funding may become part of the state budget, empowering counties to address local health priorities consistently. Watch the video here: https://lnkd.in/gZWEC-gW #PHIG #PHIGSuccess As always, we do this in partnership with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, CDC State, Tribal, Local, & Territorial Support, Association of State and Territorial Health Officials, and Public Health Accreditation Board
