The Federal Home Loan Banks supported nearly 65,000 households through affordable housing and community development programs in 2023, according to the FHFA. This includes 31,000 owner-occupied and 34,000 rental units, with assistance reaching over 33,000 low- or moderate-income households, including 17,000 very low-income families.
