PLEASE: Take 2 Minutes to Advocate for Head Start Funding! https://bit.ly/485ocbK After the election, Congress must finish passing appropriations bills for Fiscal Year 2025. The House and Senate bills are far apart in their funding proposals for Head Start. To secure the resources #HeadStart needs to continue serving our children and families, it’s CRITICAL that Congress adopts the Senate’s funding language. Head Start also requires additional support to recruit and retain qualified staff. Without increased funding, vital reforms outlined in the government’s new Rule cannot be fully implemented. Sign this letter to Congress & share it widely with friends, colleagues, Head Start parents, and everyone who cares about the future of our communities! NHSA, along with the National Indian Head Start Directors Association and National Migrant & Seasonal Head Start Association has already sent a letter to Appropriations Committee leadership on Capitol Hill.
