We’re excited to share highlights from the National Geographic Storytellers Summit hosted by National Geographic Society in Washington, D.C.! ?? This annual event brought together 150 storytellers from around the world to showcase their work. Attendees had the incredible opportunity to connect with staff and National Geographic Explorers in small groups, gaining a deeper insight into the real-world experiences behind the stories featured in our learning materials. #K12education #studentsuccess
Last month, National Geographic hosted its annual Storytellers Summit in Washington D.C. Fifteen National Geographic Learning staff members joined 150 storytellers from around the globe who were there to share their works-in-progress and recently published stories for National Geographic. During the Summit, attendees had the unique opportunity to connect with our staff and explorers in small group settings allowing them to connect with these remarkable individuals featured in our learning materials and gain deeper insights into their experiences and perspectives. The main stage was abuzz with 18 captivating presentations that covered a wide range of topics. From the awe-inspiring 396-day journey to chart the entire length of the Amazon River to the art of using data to tell compelling human stories about fashion, art and the environment, each presentation left a lasting impression. The stories shared during the Summit sparked inspiration among attendees, further our passion to bring even more stories to the classroom! #NGL #K12education #studentsuccess #ELT
