We were honored to bring together nearly 200 young girls for a day dedicated to helping them discover their passions, power, and potential. Through workshops led by our incredible partners—PSN Labs, Penn State Behrend, Eriez, and Erie Insurance Group —we empowered these young women to start shaping a future where they can confidently pursue their dreams and make an impact in the world. Our #FacesOfFuel are involved in and give back to their communities in many ways, including Nathan K., who is working on a fascinating history project to commemorate President Lincoln's visit to his hometown. In 1861, Lincoln made the trip from Illinois to Washington by train, and stopped along the way at Girard Station where he greeted local citizens, including Horace Greeley - founder and editor of the New York Tribune - who rode with Lincoln to Erie, Pa. Eventually, the train also made its way through Buffalo, too!
