How far should the government go in acquiring information on the 33 Million Small Businesses in America AND what is the Intent? The Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) (FEDERAL DATABASE) will go into effect by the end of the year. Under the Biden-Harris Administration 330 Million Hours of Paperwork and $1.7 Trillion in Additional Regulations have ALREADY been PLACED on SMALL BUSINESSES. Now they will have "additional burdens" by having to provide Legal Documents including ?? Driver’s License ?? Passport ?? All Government-Issued I.D.’s.On the surface this might seem like a simple process, however, once again our Small Businesses are being tasked to take time away from running their business and in many cases hire additional staff just to comply. Failure to adhere by January 1, 2025, can result in them being investigated and audited by the Department of Treasury and a $591 DAILY FINE as well as up to 2 years in prison. How Far Should Government Overreach Go? The National Retail Federation (NFIB) and National Small Business Association (NSBU) have both filed suit, stating Congress has exceeded its powers.
