Last week, more than 15 organizations and NFL partners joined the NFL Player Care Foundation (PCF) for the 2024 Employer Kickoff Summit at NFL Films. Organizations such as Accenture, Microsoft, PepsiCo, Toyota, Verizon, Visa, and more immersed themselves in a day packed with presentations, panels, and powerful discussions around the transferable skills from football and ways their organizations can hire NFL Legends.

Mark your calendars because our 2025 NFL Rotational Program application is scheduled to open next week on Monday, September 16! This two-year program offers participants the opportunity to rotate up to four departments at the NFL League Offices exploring various facets of the business of professional football! Consideration will be given to currently enrolled undergraduate students in their senior year (including those completing a fifth consecutive year), graduating Winter 2024 or Spring 2025 with an overall GPA of 3.0 or above. Applications will be posted to www.nfl.com/careers.

The NFL Physicians Society and Professional Football Athletic Trainers Society are thrilled to announce this year’s class of medical students participating in the Diversity in Sports Medicine Pipeline Initiative. This season, students from 21 medical schools will complete one-month clinical rotations with club medical staffs across the league. Rotations provide students the opportunity to observe and participate in the care of players in NFL club settings, working directly with and under the supervision of orthopedic team physicians, primary care team physicians, athletic trainers and other members of club medical staff. On June 14th, 17 NFL Legends convened at the Microsoft headquarters in Redmond, WA, to celebrate their graduation from the inaugural Microsoft Leap NFL Legend Cohort - Technical Program Management pathway. This program, run jointly by the NFL Player Care Foundation (PCF)?and Microsoft, provides former NFL players with hands-on education, training sessions, and networking opportunities, allowing them to use their NFL experiences to kick off their tech careers. ? At the session, these NFL Legends gathered to hear panels from Microsoft and NFL executives, tour the Microsoft campus as a team, network, and deliver their final group presentations to an audience of employers, culminating in their graduation from the Microsoft Leap program. ?
