The National Defense Cyber Alliance (NDCA) is a non-profit organization that serves as a focal point for coordinating, integrating, and sharing pertinent information related to cyber threat intelligence between industry and the United States Government. The NDCA works in close coordination with a number of Federal, state and local agencies to facilitate its mission. NDCA partners identify and defend against mutual threats through a new model of collaboration, training, and analytics. The alliance of peers facilitates the relevant and timely exchange of cyber threat intelligence, which improves the security posture for all. The NDCA framework supports the cyber defense of member organizations while also informing the U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC) by leveraging its collective resources to share cyber intelligence information with a view toward early threat identification, prevention, and deterrence of cyber-attacks targeting industry and/or the DIB community.

Big day for the National Defense Cyber Alliance (NDCA) and our mission to leverage our platform for educational and training opportunities for the next generation of cyber warriors! Today we kicked off a special program with the New Century Technology High School in #Huntsville where computer science and technology Juniors and Seniors will be provided opportunities to support the continued development of the NDCA offerings, while participating in leading educational opportunities. Our team is excited for the role this partnership will play in the further advancement of our mission. A special thank you to Principal Heather White and Cybersecurity Teacher Thomas Archer for their support and collaboration to get us to today. We also need to thank Lyndsay Ferguson and the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber for their continued support of the National Defense Cyber Alliance (NDCA). The idea for this partnership actually happened at our spring Veteran Fly where our Alliance, the Chamber, and NextOp Veterans joined forces on a series of events highlighting career opportunities, and all Huntsville has to offer, to Veterans. We’ve discovered multiple vulnerabilities affecting different API endpoints in open-source scheduling application Easy!Appointments. We found these CVEs due to our development of an automated BOLA detection technology that uses GenAI. This research breaks down the significance of BOLA vulnerabilities in the threat landscape, an explanation of each of the vulnerabilities we discovered as well as a timeline of the disclosure process. https://bit.ly/3Slge7U
