It was an incredible honor to be inducted into the Modeling & Simulation Hall of Fame last night by the National Center for Simulation. I greatly appreciate all of the family, friends, and colleagues who took a moment out of their busy lives to support me. I don’t believe any of the amazing people who came before me in the HOF moved Modeling, Simulation, and Training (MST) forward in Central Florida because the technology is cool (even though it is). I honestly believe it’s because we all hoped in some way our virtual worlds could have a positive, lasting impact on the people in the real world around us. Congratulations to my fellow inductees last night, Carolina Cruz-Neira, Ph.D., and the late Dan Holsenbeck, Ph.D. I consider myself fortunate to work in an industry I love while supporting a region I’m proud to call home. #EASPORTS
