Earlier this year, we visited our partner facility Methodist Health System in Dallas, TX! ?? ?? Since January 2023, the grants they received from NBCF have allowed them to provide over 700 screening mammograms and over 750 diagnostic mammograms (and other diagnostic procedures). We are so happy to hear about their impact on the DFW community. Thank you, Methodist Health System, for supporting our mission of helping women and families facing breast cancer!

Congratulations to Kara Myers, SHRM-CP on receiving our Core Values Leadership Award! This award was created and voted on by NBCF's Officer Team in order to recognize her incredible efforts in supporting NBCF employees at every turn. As HR Manager, Kara utilizes her harmony and empathy skills to champion every employee and ensure everyone has the support and resources they need to succeed. Kara's vision for NBCF allows #TeamHope to keep moving forward. Not only has Kara's behind-the-scenes work helped us win Dallas Business Journal's Best Place to Work designation this year, but it also has allowed us to continue to receive multiple awards, participate in newly created manager development programs, and hire 17 new roles in the past year. As Donor Engagement Manager, Katy uses her leadership and communication skills to nurture and grow relationships within our donor community. Recently, her efforts to secure major funds (including six-figure gifts) have allowed us to advance our mission of Helping Women significantly. "Hello, I am Stacy Bilodeau, a proud mom of two amazing, very active kids, wife to a husband who serves in the United States Coast Guard, and full-time graphic designer at a leading military and veteran nonprofit. I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC) on November 15, 2023. My cancer was found in my right breast." We met Stacy earlier this year and she quickly became one of our most supportive community members, even connecting NBCF to valuable resources to further our Military Women's Patient Relief Fund. To thank Stacy for her support, we sent her a gift from our friends at PrimePrometics. Here's what she had to say: "Okay, seriously, the pure joy when I opened my pink box from Prime Prometics; I was just so grateful for ALL the items. They are all fantastic. I lost all of my eyelashes due to chemo, and my eyelashes have been growing at a snail's pace and all crazy. These products are amazing and have helped my eyelashes look full!" Prime Prometics was originally founded as a makeup line designed to counter the effects of chemotherapy for breast cancer patients. This year, they donated over $1 million in products to be packed in NBCF's signature HOPE Kits and sent to breast cancer patients nationwide. Thank you, Prime Prometics, for your continued support!
