In this episode, listeners hear from professional distance runner and ultramarathoner, Sage Canaday. As an athlete, Sage knows his body very well, but he faced an unprecedented roadblock in 2021 when he began experiencing back pain, shortness of breath, and lightheadedness. He was misdiagnosed with pneumonia and suffered through his increasingly severe symptoms for five weeks before he was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism.
