We love seeing our Branch Managers continuing financial education in our surrounding communities. It is never too early to teach children to save and continue to provide financial literacy programs for future generations! South Main Branch Manager, CJ Vernon visited the third grade classes at Wenonah Elementary School in Waynesboro, VA last week. Mr. CJ read them a story, taught them about budgeting, reminded the students of the importance of savings, and then led them through an activity where each third grader was given a 50-dollar budget to plan a birthday party and they had to stay within their budget. Third grade had the best time learning with him!
