Yesterday, a bipartisan group of House members, Reps. Suzanne Bonamici (D-OR),?Brett Guthrie (R-KY),?Glenn (GT) Thompson (R-PA), and?Lucy McBath (D-GA), introduced?House Resolution 1453, which recognizes the vital role of workforce development in supporting jobseekers, businesses, and local economies as well as designating September 2024 as?National Workforce Development Month. Stay an extra day at #NAWBForum25 to join NAWB and your fellow workforce development professionals in a powerful demonstration of advocacy in action. We will gather on the afternoon of April 1 to discuss the issues, tips for successful meetings, and we will also arrange for you to meet with your members of Congress on Capitol Hill on April 2. No previous advocacy experience is necessary. Every voice matters as the new Congress will be shaping its priorities for the year ahead.
