NAWC represents the regulated, private water companies that 73 million Americans trust to deliver safe & reliable water
关于我们
Since 1895, the National Association of Water Companies (NAWC) has represented the regulated, private water companies that deliver safe and reliable water to 73 million Americans every day. That's almost one quarter of our nation's population. Founded in 1895 by a handful of small water companies, NAWC today has members located throughout the nation and ranging in size from large companies owning, operating or partnering with hundreds of utilities in multiple states to individual utilities serving a few hundred customers. Our members' businesses include ownership of state-regulated drinking water and wastewater utilities and many forms of public-private partnerships.

Join NAWC in celebrating #WorldToiletDay! Every flush relies on a team of water professionals to ensure your systems work correctly, which is why investments in our nation’s wastewater infrastructure keep communities healthy and happy. These investments prevent sewage from polluting the environment and your drinking water systems. Next time you flush, say thanks to a #water and #wastewater worker!

Yesterday was a beautiful day to celebrate #NationalHikingDay! We hope you used it as an excuse to reconnect with nature by getting outside, soaking up some sun and breathing in some crisp Autumn air. This is a reminder to always hydrate by bringing a reusable water bottle filled right from the tap!

Happy anniversary to the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA)! On this day 3 years ago, the IIJA: - Directed $15B towards replacing lead service lines nationwide, helping eliminate lead exposure risks and improve public health. - Addressed ‘forever chemicals’ in water by allocating $10B to water testing, monitoring, and treatment methods to mitigate the effects of #PFAS on water quality. - Expanded the Drinking Water and Clean Water State Revolving Funds (SRFs), which will finance water infrastructure projects and provide low-interest loans to improve drinking and wastewater systems. And that’s just the beginning! Celebrate with us today by drinking a big glass of reliable, safe water straight from the tap.
