REALTOR? Bruce Johnson rode his motorcycle 37,000 miles, traversing entire countries and continents, to raise money for SickKids Hospital in Toronto and the Children’s Miracle Network. Bruce started this mission as a way to remember his daughter, Alyssa Rae, who was cared for at SickKids Hospital before she passed away at 20 days old. Bruce, a 2019 Good Neighbor Award Winner, is the only Canadian to have received this honor from NAR. As Bruce faces a serious cancer diagnosis, his RE/MAX Canada family surprised him at their recent conference to bring the total raised to over $1 million. ”They dragged [the Alyssa Rae Johnson Fund] over the finish line. We are so proud as a family that Alyssa is going to live on through this fund,” says Bruce, who turned 60 on Monday. “I am so grateful for my RE/MAX colleagues. It was one of those life moments.
