In 2017, REALTOR? Kelly Griebel co-founded Kenai Peninsula Animal Lovers (KPAL) Rescue after the local pet shelter closed. KPAL has since rescued more than 1,350 dogs, and covered more than $300,000 in vet bills this year, despite having no physical shelter. Kelly sometimes travels to remote Alaskan villages to save litters of puppies or abused pets. Kelly recently won the weekly Alaska lottery and donated the money to local nonprofits that help animals. “The biggest one for me was KPAL Rescue because I’m so tied to it and I know how bad they are hurting financially.” #FeelGoodFriday #RealtorsAreGoodNeighbors #ThatsWhoWeR #AnimalRescue #PetRescue #AnimalShelter
