Enjoyed partnering with Liz Morrell, Ph.D. on this feature in Legacy, a publication by the National Association for Interpretation, highlighting this crucial work. Mecklenburg County's dedication to accurately portraying the all of the stories from these sites is commendable and marks a pivotal project within Mecklenburg County and our Park and Recreation Department's scope.

NAI is seeking passionate course developers and instructors for a new Interpretive Planning course, launching in summer 2025. With Dr. David Bucy retiring after a decade of leading the course, we're looking for individuals to carry forward his legacy. The course will emphasize NAI’s core values, supporting diverse audiences in telling their stories. Dr. Bucy will assist to ensure alignment with NAI's vision. Gained valuable insight and feeling energized and after completing the extensive National Association for Interpretation Process of Interpretive Planning course this past week with David Bucy, Bucy Associates. Thank you, Dave, and our host, Bethany Kivela at North Chagrin Nature Center-Cleveland Metroparks. It was a pleasure meeting and working with such an amazing group of professionals from interpretive sites all across the country.
