NIVT Welcomes The First Batch of EASA Approved Basic B1/B2 Course (2 Yrs) Rawalpindi, Pakistan – September 23, 2024 – The National Institute of Vocational Training (NIVT) proudly celebrated a significant milestone with the inauguration of its first batch of Basic B1/B2 Course (2 Yrs). The event was held at NIVT’s state-of-the-art training facility and was graced by distinguished presence of Chairperson NAVTTC, Ms. Gulmina Bilal. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome to the students who have embarked on this exciting journey toward a promising career in aircraft maintenance. Director NIVT provided an in-depth overview of the program, detailing the comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the aviation industry. Director General (IA & Training), AVM (R) Soban Nazir Syed addressed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of skilled professionals in maintaining the highest safety standards in aviation. “This program represents a critical investment in our future aviation workforce,” he stated. “We are committed to fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in aircraft maintenance training.” Chairperson NAVTTC also echoed these sentiments, highlighting the partnership between NAVTTC and NIVT in promoting vocational training across Pakistan. “Our collaboration aims to enhance the employability of our youth and meet the growing demands of the aviation sector,” she remarked. The EASA Approved Aircraft Maintenance License Program is designed to meet international standards, providing students with unparalleled training and exposure to the latest technologies in aviation.
