The National Ability Center is excited to welcome Willie Ford to the team as our new chief executive officer. Willie joins the NAC after many years of leadership in the outdoor industry, to include POC and Givego, as well as experience on the board of High Fives Foundation. Willie grew up in New Hampshire where he was an All-American on the UNH Ski Team and moved to Park City 10 years ago while leading POC North America. His wife Caroline and their son Walker also join the NAC family. Willie’s passion for outdoor recreation, making it accessible to all, and strong track record of growing organizations will lead the NAC as we continue to positively impact more lives every year. Welcome Fords! #AdaptiveNation

关于我们
The National Ability Center works to empower individuals of all abilities by building self-esteem, confidence, and lifetime skills through their participation in our adaptive sports, recreation, educational, and community programs. Learn more at: https://www.discovernac.org Founded in 1985, the National Ability Center is a 501(c)3 non-profit, tax-exempt organization. With the generosity of private donors, corporate sponsorships, and the commitment of over a thousand seasonal volunteers, we can serve our non-profit mission and bridge the gap between perceived limitations and what is possible. All activities are offered at an affordable rate and scholarships are available, ensuring participation for all applicants. The NAC staff draws from decades of collective experience working with people who live with a disability and harnessing the power of specialized adaptive equipment, techniques, and teaching methods. Athletes, veterans, children, and families come to our facilities from all 50 US states and around the globe to participate in our transformational programs. We work hard to make recreation and outdoor adventures fun and accessible to people of all abilities. Our “I Can” philosophy reinforces our belief that a disability shouldn’t hinder anyone from living a vibrant, active, and rewarding life.

As the summer days wind down, we wanted to remind you that there’s still time to participate in National Make-a-Will Month. While writing a will might not be as fun as a day on the lake, it's a meaningful way to protect your loved ones and create a lasting impact. If you’ve been putting it off, you’re not alone—but it’s easier than you think with tools like FreeWill.com. Already have a will? Consider including the National Ability Center in your legacy to help people of all abilities thrive! #DiscoverYourAbility #MakeAWillMonth #AdaptiveNation

It was a privilege and honor to host CreatiVets last week, a nonprofit that connects veterans struggling with post-traumatic stress and musicians to foster self-expression in a way that allows them to transform their stories of trauma into an art form that can inspire and motivate continued healing. We sincerely thank the veterans and artists for letting us be part of this experience ??
