This UN Day, the Nation Voice Foundation proudly joined the United Nations Association of Westchester to honor the spirit of unity and global progress. Founder Victoria Martino had the unique opportunity to meet with Kanni Wignaraja, UN Assistant Secretary-General and Director of UNDP, to share NVF’s mission of uplifting women and children worldwide. This meaningful gathering opened doors to impactful discussions on building a brighter future and empowering the most vulnerable among us.

On October 17th, the Nation Voice Foundation participated in the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty at the United Nations Headquarters in New York. It was a powerful reminder that poverty is not just a lack of resources—it’s a barrier to opportunity and dignity. We learned that ending poverty requires collective action, strong communities, and a commitment to systemic change. Nation Voice Foundation is dedicated to playing our part in this global effort, working towards a future where no one is left behind.

The path to change starts with each of us, and every action taken helps open doors to a brighter future for these women and their families.

Today, on October 10th marks World Mental Health Day. Worldwide, an estimated 1 billion people are living with mental health conditions, particularly women and children in low- and middle-income countries, who often go untreated. Mental health is an integral part of overall wellness. It is high time that it is recognized as a fundamental human right. Today, and every day, let’s work toward building a world in which mental health always matters.

In many parts of the world, millions of women and children wake up each day facing the harsh reality of poverty. Imagine a mother who spends her days working tirelessly, but her income is still not enough to feed her children or send them to school. Despite her hard work and determination, she finds herself trapped in a cycle of hunger and hardship, where opportunities are limited and hope is hard to come by. This isn’t just one person’s story—this is the reality for countless families struggling to break free from poverty. The future of these women and children depends on creating pathways to education, economic empowerment, and stability.

Millions of women and children worldwide are trapped in a cycle of poverty. With limited access to education, proper nutrition, and economic opportunities, their future is often overshadowed by hardship. The most vulnerable—single mothers, marginalized communities, and children—bear the brunt of these inequities. Poverty isn't just about a lack of resources. It's about lives held back, potential unfulfilled, and dreams deferred. This is a crisis we must confront with urgency and purpose.

On August 9th, our Founder and CEO, Victoria Martino, had the honor of attending the graduation ceremony at Ubumwe Saint Kizito Nursery & Primary School by invitation of Emmanuel Bugingo, Founder and CEO of Partners for Conservation @partnersforconservation , and Mugenzi Eugene, a representative of the school. During her speech, Victoria emphasized our commitment to supporting the school in its mission to provide every student with access to quality education, essential materials, and the tools needed for success. We are eager to explore new opportunities to work together in partnership, ensuring a brighter future for all students. We look forward to what we can achieve together!
