A #MomentOfPride for Pakistan’s IT Sector! On February 24, 2025, I had the privilege of welcoming 14 esteemed foreign delegates to the Pakistan IT Industry Association (P@SHA) office at Karachi National Aerospace Science & Technology Park (NASTP). It was fascinating to witness how leaders, diplomats, and professionals from other emerging markets were not only curious but genuinely excited to learn about the rapid growth of Pakistan’s IT sector. For me, this was a moment of immense pride—sharing the success story that is unfolding in Pakistan’s tech #ecosystem. Historically, we have sought positive narratives to showcase on the global stage, and in the last two to three years, our technology sector has emerged as a compelling testament to innovation, resilience, and progress. This momentum is not the work of any single entity but the collective effort of a thriving ecosystem. The stakeholders driving this transformation deserve immense recognition for their dedication and vision. I would especially like to acknowledge Muhammad Zohaib Khan for his exceptional leadership during his tenure at P@SHA, steering the industry towards new heights. A special mention also goes to Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) for its commendable initiatives in promoting Pakistan’s IT exports and enabling global partnerships. Furthermore, we must appreciate the visionary leadership of: ? Zarrar Khan, Secretary, Ministry of IT & Telecom – for his strategic guidance in shaping policy frameworks. ? Shaza Khawaja, Minister of IT & Telecom – for her commitment to driving digital transformation in Pakistan. Thrilled to be part of Women Tech Quest 2025! I competed in the Software Coding category at the 9th Annual WTQ held at NASTP Silicon! It was an exciting challenge, testing my skills in data structures, algorithms, and database queries.
