Nasson Health Care, a division of York County Community Action Corporation, is 1 of 19 Federally Qualified Health Centers in Maine. As a patient-centered medical home, our team of compassionate and qualified professionals provides a fully integrated range of care for the whole family including primary medical care, dental care and behavioral health services. We also partner with many of the region’s social service organizations and specialties in our region to treat and care for the whole-person. Accessibility to quality healthcare is a basic right for each member of our community and we strive to welcome everyone, regardless of their ability to pay – whether you have private insurance, Medicare, MaineCare or no insurance at all. Our sliding fee discount program reduces fees according to family size and income, in accordance to Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Dental Assistants (DA) Recognition Week is held each March and created by the American Dental Assistants Association. This year's theme is “Superheroes behind the Smiles” and highlights the essential role DAs play in ensuring exceptional patient care and enhancing the overall dental experience. Join us in recognizing the following Superheros: Lili Cammett, Katie Colby, Laura Iriana, Kristianna Libby, Kim Ortoleva, Lisa Polissack, Samantha Price, Talyn Saucier, Madison Strate, Camellia Warlo and Amanda Wells. Our DAs strengthen our practice and provide compassionate and quality care each day. Thank you Dental Assistants! #DARW2025

Our behavioral health providers have a new home. Through an expansion of services grant, we recently completed renovations of a new treatment suite that includes seven treatment offices, conference room, kitchen and a private check-in station for behavioral health care patients. The expansion will have a significant impact on the services we provide and will enhance our patient experience in the following ways: hiring of an Intake Clinician who will work with our medical providers to ensure quicker access to care and a smoother transition, hiring of a combined LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) and LADC (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor) to enhance care for those patients needing SUD (Substance Use Disorder) and MAT (Medication Assisted Treatment) treatment, better coordination of resources which will include a treatment group for patients needing MAT, and for convenience and privacy, patients now have access to a dedicated check-in/out station within the Behavioral Health Suite. Behavioral health services are open to our primary care patients and we are accepting new patients.
