Great event this morning at the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast. Governor Lee’s comments regarding needing #housing and more #AffordableHousing to meet the needs of our workforce and Tennessee’s growing economy were great. I’m Looking forward to seeing some of the housing legislation his administration is pushing get across the finish line! Housing is a bi-partisan issue that all 95 Tennessee counties need help addressing. Let’s build some more housing together!

A great annual event this morning for Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce Governor’s Address. Stephanie Coleman and former Mayor Bill Purcell kicked off today’s event, with Bill reminding us, “Your presence is the essential precondition to our state’s success.” Freddie O'Connell emphasized partnerships and being “sure-footed on common ground.” regarding 50+ career pathways in industries like healthcare, music, finance, and construction. Compelling speech by Governor Lee who reaffirmed his commitment to workforce development, education, and economic growth. You will hear from Mary Deel, Department Veterans Outreach Coordinator, about how businesses can get involved and the benefits of supporting SMVF in the workforce.
