Eclectic and classic for this breakfast nook. We played with traditional touches like shiplap paneling, a ticking stripe cushion from?Kufri, and timeless rattan bistro chairs. Of course, we had to throw in a little modern edge with the iconic Saarinen table. Who wouldn’t want to linger here a little longer? ? #breakfastnook?#eclecticstyle?#bayareahomes

Born and raised in Atherton, Kendra Nicholas Nash started Nash Design Group after gaining experience in the Silicon Valley real estate market and finding a passion for interior design. She is a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco and has a bachelor’s degree from UCLA. In addition to traveling, food, and fashion, Kendra is also inspired by her everyday surroundings: her husband’s tattoos, hydrangeas from her garden, a vintage fabric found at the flea market. She calls her design aesthetic “clean, versatile, and organic, but always with some spunky surprises.” Her designs often incorporate repurposed family treasures or a client’s favorite piece, reworked into a new, cohesive design. You will find Nash Design Group's work spread throughout the Peninsula, as the firm works closely with local architects and builders to design clients’ homes starting with the construction phase, and then continuing through furnishings and finishing touches. From expansive estates to charming bungalows, Kendra is keen to the unique details of each space and brings a personal sense of style to every home she designs. She has recruited a group of talented, creative personnel to bring the Nash Design Group vision to life and help each project run smoothly.

Green windows that pop and?ARTO Brick?tiles in the most timeless shade. Classic Spanish revival at its best! We designed this home intentionally to embrace the beautiful oak tree that anchors the backyard. #patiodesign #interiordesign

Effortless eclectic vibes for this 'entry slash living room'. The sleek, modern linear fireplace contrasts beautifully with classic details like the archway, while the vintage entry bench and a stunning commissioned piece of art add layers of personality. Mixing styles and eras is our favorite way to make a space feel truly one-of-a-kind! #entrywaydesign?#welcomehome?#livingroomstyle?

Custom stained white oak cabinetry and zellige tile backsplash give this kitchen the perfect amount of old-world charm. What’s really cool here is the island... it doesn’t have seating, and that’s totally on purpose. Since it’s positioned between the breakfast nook and dining room, we intentionally left seating off to keep the flow open. The island was designed to look like a beautiful piece of furniture with plenty of storage for all your entertaining needs. #kitchendesign #warmkitchens

This Lacanche stove in the color Vert Silice was the first piece we picked for this home... It set the tone for everything else! We loved the soft, dreamy color, and we used that little sample chip to guide all the design decisions, from the tiles to the paint and all the little details in between. When one piece sparks the whole vision, you know it’s something special! #dreamkitchen?#kitcheninspo?

Fall vibes in Menlo Park... Can we take a moment for these gorgeous oak trees? The exterior of this Menlo Park home might feel unassuming (though still so beautiful!), but just wait until you step inside. 12-foot steel windows and doors are ready to 'wow' you the moment you walk in! What a year it’s been already! We’ve got four projects wrapping up by the end of summer and can’t wait to get our clients moved in and settled. Then, it’s photo time for these gorgeous spaces! We’re diving into four new projects (one remodel and three new construction) all while working away on all the other amazing spaces that are still in progress. Excited to keep our creativity fired up and to collaborate with vendors that help us bring these projects to life! #societyofdesign?#californiainteriors?#californialiving?
