?? Supporting Mental Health in Nash County Schools! ?? We’re excited to share how Rotary Clubs of Nash County made a difference in the lives of Nash County Public Schools (NCPS) students! ?? On Tuesday, Nov. 12, the Rotary Clubs presented Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Journals that will be given to all NCPS middle and high school students during a special event at Red Oak Middle School. These journals, valued at $8,000, were more than just pages—they were tools for self-reflection, resilience, and growth. ?? Created by mental health advocate Gregor Baum and funded by the Red Oak Area Rotary, Rocky Mount Rotary, and Nash-Rocky Mount Rotary, this initiative reflected the community’s dedication to student well-being. SEL skills like emotional regulation, empathy, and problem-solving are crucial for both personal and academic success, and we’re proud to see our schools embrace these resources. A big thank you to Chad Thompson, Jeannie Kerr, the Rotary Clubs, and all involved for championing this cause. Together, we’ve built stronger, healthier futures for our students. ?? #MentalHealthMatters #SocialEmotionalLearning #EducationMatters #StudentWellBeing #EmpowerStudents #FutureLeaders #NashCounty #NashCountyPublicSchools #CommunitySupport #RotaryClubs #GivingBack #K12Education #StudentSuccess #EmotionalIntelligence #GrowthMindset #NCPSchools
