The webinar will present an approach Gender Integration and Equality Approach to water management that has the principal goal of ensuring balanced and meaningful participation of different social groups at all stages of management and governance of water resources. It includes tools to improve the availability of water and gender data and analysis, as well as stakeholder engagement to better address the constraints women and disadvantaged social groups face and to unlock their potential as key actors. At yesterday's United Nations General Assembly Science Summit, #PEER2PEER collaborator Abubakarr Mansaray presented on Hurdles to International Science Cooperation: Data Sharing and Management. He discussed the vision, goals, and objectives of the PEER2PEER program, as well as the modern issues related to transboundary data sharing.
