Last week, NASDA CEO Ted McKinney joined a roundtable discussion on food waste hosted by the Embassy of Hungary, Washington and the Food Law Institute. NASDA continues to support reducing #foodwaste to provide an abundant #foodsupply for all and thanks these organizations for hosting this important conversation with industry experts.

State agriculture officials expressed the need for farm technical assistance resources to support farmers during the 2025 Winter Policy Conference. Members passed policy supporting the creation of programs to help #farmers with agriculture-specific business development services, effective farm transitions, risk management, record keeping and more. https://lnkd.in/gzr7WtEZ #UnitedWeThrive

At last week's Winter Policy Conference, NASDA members voted to support federal programs and policies that expand “food as medicine” initiatives and strengthen their connection to local and regional #foodsystems.
