Inside our Icing Research Tunnel, we’re putting a revolutionary wing design to the test. ???? The transonic truss-braced wing is thinner and more fuel-efficient than today’s wings—but that sleek design may also make it more vulnerable to ice buildup. Our research is gathering critical safety data to support the development of the next generation of efficient aircraft.
