NASA Space Apps Challenge Cleveland

Announcement: The NASA Space Apps Chicago team will be joining forces with Space Apps Mountainview to co-lead the hackathon at the NASA Ames facility. A big thank you to Martina Dimoska for inviting us to be part of her highly successful hackathon. Chicago and Mountainview were the two largest Space Apps events in the US last year and I expect us to reach 1k registrants between the two locations this year. We'll be working to align our sponsorships, marketing, and student outreach plans. The Chicago team will learn a lot from Space Apps Mountainview that we can use to make our experience here better. More on Space Apps Mountainview: The NASA Space Apps Challenge in Mountain View is held at NASA Ames Research Center, one of the most prominent research facilities in the United States. As one of the largest Space Apps locations in the country, it brings together a diverse group of participants, including developers, scientists, and space enthusiasts, to collaborate on solving real-world challenges using space data. Last year, amongst many incredible surprises and partners, NASA Space Apps Mountain View was honored to host Astronaut Woody Hoburg, the Deputy Director of NASA Ames, David Korsmeyer, and several commercial astronauts, who shared their insights and experiences. The event serves as a unique opportunity to engage with the local and global space community while working on innovative solutions inspired by NASA’s missions, leveraging NASA's open data to address real-world challenges. #spaceapps #AI #hackathon
